Inspired by Kindness

Large fiberglass cats waiting for hugs next to sign: "Special diet: Please feed with acts of kindness."

Yesterday was the #Kindness Party on Twitter, and I have to say — that was a major feel-good! All the wonderful things folks had to say about people in their lives and the kindness quotes that were tweeted were so uplifting. In case you didn’t get a chance to be a part of the festivities, let me share some of the amazing tweets with you:

“Kindness is more important than wisdom, and the recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom.” ~Theodore Rubin

From @DrJackKing: “Be the pebble that causes the ripple of love and #kindness in all that you do.” ~@Spycnsweet

From @soundsblue: When you smile at adversity, you lighten the load with feelings of warmth & understanding.

From @jacobshare: “As much as we need a prosperous economy, we also need a prosperity of #kindness and decency.” ~Caroline Kennedy

From @sarahndipitous: Love will take a shattered soul & piece it into a stained glass window; #kindness is the sun that shines through it.

From @GaryLoper: “Blessed is he who speaks a #kindness, thrice blessed is he who repeats it.” ~Proverb

“The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but reveal to them their own.” ~Disraeli

From @feistycoach: #kindness is never wasted. If it has no effect on the recipient, at least it benefits the bestower.” ~S. H. Simmons

From @careerconsult: “We must never forget the #kindness that someone has shown us.” ~My wonderful (and very kind) mom

From @JobHuntOrg: The Beatles were 100% correct: We get by with a little help from our friends! That’s #kindness!

“Do not wait for leaders;  do it alone, person to person.” ~Mother Teresa

From @influenSPHERE: Obsolete meaning of the word kind is “character,” so #kindness is a state of character. May we all be in that state!

From @HeatherEColeman: Ending enabling behavior is a kindness, even if it seems unkind at the time.

From @Keppie_Careers: Think about how you can help a #jobseeker. Invite a few people to coffee and make personal introductions.

From @phyllismufson: “A kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everything in its vicinity freshen into smiles.” ~Washington Irving

Now that you are undoubtedly brimming over with warm fuzzies, how are you going to pass on this kindness?
