Looking to do a blog as part of your job search or personal branding? In need of some great information to help you as you try to figure out your career path? Look no further than this week’s #FollowFriday honorees!
Emily White (@emilyblogfairy)
Emily is the person responsible for the great design work on this site (including the #FollowFriday badge that I use and my Twitter background)! She has the patience of a saint and really listens to the needs of her clients. I found her to have a strong customer focus and would not hesitate to go back to her with anything I may need in the future.
And now she’s on Twitter! If you are considering a blog redesign, definitely follow Emily and give her work a look. It’s good stuff!
Undercover Recruiter (@UndercoverRec)
The Undercover Recruiter is really Jorgen Sundberg, who was profiled a few Fridays ago. His Twitter stream is filled with tweets that run the gamut of topics that will interest anyone serious about job seeking or career management — résumés, interviews, networking, social media, personal branding. If you’re looking for something any of those topics, there’s an excellent chance you’ll find it there.
Tim Tyrell-Smith (@TimsStrategy)
I’m embarrassed to admit that, in the blur of information that whips past on Twitter, I’d not taken a closer look at Tim’s feed until recently. That’s definitely not going to be the case anymore. You’ll find a great deal of very useful information in his tweets — Tim is a great follow!
Another amazing resource that Tim provides is this: the Downloads page of his website. Every single item on that page is FREE! Over a dozen tools and templates that will help a job seeker with various aspects of the job hunt and two e-books are available for your edification at no cost. Wow — I am seriously in awe at his generosity! Follow Tim on Twitter and read his blog. It will be time well-spent!
#FollowFriday happens every week here at The Job Quest. To learn about other wonderful folks who are follow-worthy every week, visit the #FollowFriday archives, and start following some amazing people!

Melissa – Wow! I have never seen someone illustrate their follow recommendations in such a fun way! I’m honored to make your list.
This brings everyone to life in a much more vibrant way than a simple ff. Of course we’re all glad for the mentions we get!
Have a wonderful Friday and thanks again for those nice comments!

@Tim: Thank you for your compliments! As much as Twitter has tightened up my writing skills, 140 characters just doesn’t do people justice when it comes to extolling their virtues.
Without a doubt, you provide a lot of value in all that you offer
I’m looking forward to reading more from you and having good discussions!
@Jorgen: The Undercover Recruiter blog and Twitter stream both provide a ton of excellent content. It’s always an honor to showcase your fine work!
