The #FollowFriday post today is going to put the spotlight on a couple people who really know what personal branding is and how to do it well. The content they provide is truly top-notch and they really get a person thinking about how they approach their career, their business, even their life.

Since he coined the phrase “personal branding” in 1997, it’s safe to say that Tom Peters is the father of personal branding.
He’s direct, but he has a great knack for cutting through the bull to get at the heart of the matter. His videos are awesome (a few of which have been featured in blog posts here), but what really won me over was this tweet to Mohammed Al-Taee:
Who can’t respect a man who is as accomplished as he is, but still brings tons of humbleness to the table? Tom Peters is absolutely worth following on Twitter.

Dan has taken that concept of personal branding and really run with it (to put it mildly). He really lives and breathes it. His tweets are filled with information about networking, the job search, branding, the workplace, and pretty much anything else that will help you excel in your job search and career management.
His own blog, Personal Branding Blog, also includes a Student Branding Blog for those who are just about to kick off their careers. Without a doubt, lots of good information here!
